DreamHack have revealed two more invites for DreamHack Masters Marseille, as FaZe and Cloud9 will be joining the list.
The two finalists of the ELEAGUE 2018 Major, FaZe and Cloud9, have been confirmed as participants at the first premier CS:GO event to be held in France, DreamHack Masters Marseille. The tournament will feature a $250,000 prize pool, 16 teams, and will be held on April 18-22.
Following the Major, FaZe continued to pick up solid placings, but failed to grab a trophy at either StarSeries i-League Season 4 or IEM Katowice 2018, losing to Natus Vincere and fnatic, respectively. On the other side, Cloud9 have been on a downward trend, as their Major victory has been followed by a second place at cs_summit 2, a group stage exit in Kiev and a top six in Katowice.
Six teams for the upcoming DreamHack Masters event are now known:
